Here we tell you how to manage Featured Articles.
Featured Articles are those which appear on the Home Page.
They are indicated in the Articles screen by a yellow star.
There are 4 Featured Articles in a default WYNCHCO website design.
All are held in a category called Home Page to emphasise the point that they are intended for display on the Home Page.
They could however be held in any category.
What causes these Articles to be featured is that they have each been assigned (or given) featured article status.
Featured Article status is indicated by a yellow star (see image).
ALL featured articles are displayed on the Home Page.
To hide form the Home Page, click on the star to de-select this status.
After signing into the dashboard, select Articles button from the welcome screen.
Then select Featured Articles.
By default in a WYNCHCO website design, the Home Menu Link is an Articles - Featured Articles Menu Link.
This kind of Menu Link will bring to screen ALL Articles assigned Featured Article status.
Just like any other Article, after signing in the Front End you can easily edit their content.
Simply select the COG button (see image).
And then select Edit Article.
The content editor window will open.
