Mail Templates

Mail Templates enable you to change the layout of various system email messages.

You can also change the look and feel of system email messages using the content editor provided.

Example: the User Actions Log Notification Email shown in the image below.

Browse Mail Templates

Select System from the Sidebar Menu of your website's Dashboard.

Then select Mail Templates from the Templates Panel.

Mail Template Options

Select the Options button at the top right of the Mail  Templates screen to configure Mail Template settings.

Example: Mail Format.

In a default WYNCHCO Website Design the Mail Format setting is HTML.

And the Logo File option is not selected.

If it were then the selected image would be displayed at the top of all emails sent out from your Joomla! CMS website.

When the Logo File option is not selected then your website's Sitename is displayed instead.

Select the Global Configuration button in your website's Dashboard to review and change your website's Sitename.

Edit a Mail Template

It is easy to edit the appearance of any one System Email just as you would edit an Article.

You can change almost any element using the Content Editor.

Or perhaps you only want to change the language used to make it more readable for its intended audience.
