Error 554: MTA Reputation

554 Your access to this mail system has been rejected due to the sending MTA's IP

If you receive the above (or similar) error message followed by an IP address, you should contact your web hosting company.

Send their technical support the complete error message (inlcuding the MTA's IP).


The hosting company should then request the de-listing of the affected mail server but this can take some time.

In the meantime, they should advise you of the details of an alternative mail server to use.

This will necessitate changing your outgoing mail server settings in your email client (for example, Outlook).
