Hacker News report that Google Chrome patches "for 15 security flaws, including two critical use-after-free bugs in Ozone" have been released.
Ozone is a "cross-platform abstraction layer that allows the browser to interact natively with various display servers and windowing systems".
Whilst these vulnerabilities have not been marked as actively exploited, users are advised by The Hacker News report to update their Chrome browser to versions:
- 150.0.7871.124/.125 for Windows and Apple macOS, and
- 150.0.7871.124 for Linux.
Users of other Chromium-based browsers (Microsoft Edge, Brave, Opera, and Vivaldi) are also advised to check they continue to use the latest available release.
