Withdrawal of support is not limited to bug fixes.

It includes withdrawal of security fixes.

Developer withdrawal of support is to be expected given that The Joomla! Project itself withdrew bug fix and security support for its Joomla! 3 CMS in 2023.

There are still loads of old Joomla! 3 CMS websites visible on the web.

All of them were already at serious risk of hack.

As third party extension developers continue to terminate security fix support then that risk is magnified.

If you value your Joomla! 3 website, upgrade it to the latest available version of Joomla! CMS.

If you don't value it and don't want to upgrade it then do everyone a favour by deleting it from the web.

Reason: old unsupported hackable websites facilitate Denial of Service attacks against other websites.
