The Joomla! Project launched its official Extended Long Term Support (ELTS) programme in 2023 to take the pressure off users of Joomla! 3.10 who were not ready to upgrade their website to Joomla! 5.x at the time that long term support for Joomla! 3.10 ended.
The ELTS was administered on behalf of The Joomla! Project by a 3rd party provider.
And was offered only on a subscription basis until 17 February 2025.

- 3.10.20 Security Fix.
Subscription to the ELTS Programme was required if you wanted to update your website to the latest available release of Joomla! 3.10.
The subscription period ended on 17 February 2025.
