Hacker News report that Google has "released security updates for its Chrome web browser to address two high-severity vulnerabilities that it said have been exploited in the wild".
Vulnerabilities and flaws which are actively exploited in the wild are also known as Zero Day vulnerabilities.
A patch for a Zero-Day Vulnerability is issued by developers when they discover a flaw which has been exploited without their knowledge.
Users are advised by The Hacker News report to update their Chrome browser to versions:
- 146.0.7680.75/76 for Windows and macOS, and
- 146.0.7680.75 for Linux.
Users of other Chromium-based browsers (Microsoft Edge, Brave, Opera, and Vivaldi) are also advised to check they continue to use the latest available release.
