The Joomla! Project launched its official Extended Long Term Support (ELTS) programme in 2023 to take the pressure off users of Joomla! 3.10 who are not ready to switch to the latest version which is fully supported by The Joomla! Project™.
The ELTS is administered by a 3rd party provider and is offered on a subscription basis until February 2025..
Purpose: to provide additional security support for users of the Joomla! 3 CMS.

Why switch to Joomla! 5.x instead of using the ELTS?
The ELTS only provides security support and only for a limited period.
Bug Fix support is excluded.
Support for 3rd party extensions is excluded.
It makes sense to switch to the latest version of Joomla! CMS sooner rather than later.
If you want to switch to using the Joomla! 5 CMS then we can help.
