Once you have found the Lets Encrypt button in your Hosting Control Panel it is very easy to install a Lets Encrypt SSL certificate.
There are however some additional changes you should make when you add an SSL certificate.
Add an SSL certificate
Open the Lets Encrypt screen
Confirm the SSL certificate has been added
When you do, read the small print at the top of the screen.
It should state that your SSL certificate will be automatically renewed at the expiry date.
You may still however receive reminder emails from Lets Encrypt, recommending that you renew your SSL certificate.
If you choose not to ignore these then you should be able to renew the SSL via the above screen when you sign into your hosting control panel.
Monitor the SSL is working
We recommend that you make a note in your diary to periodically check the certificate remains active.
Additional changes when you add an SSL certificate
You should also make some changes to your website's:

Note: when we changed from HTTP to HTTPS we deleted all existing redirects and started fixing broken links again from a clean sheet.
Check your website for any existing absolute internal links and changes these to relative ones.
Example, change http://yourdomain.com/home to home.
