Heads up: the developer reports this latest version of Akeeba Backup is only recommended for use with websites using Joomla! 3.9 or later and PHP 7.2 or later.
The developer explains why support for older versions of Joomla! and PHP is no longer provided in their release notes. The reasons include preparation for the expected launch of Joomla! 4.
