These are summarised by the Joomla! Project's Release Cycle, Development Strategy and Roadmap.
The Joomla! Release Cycle
The Joomla! Release Cycle was introduced in its current form in 2014 to make Joomla! CMS development more responsive to technological advancements across the world wide web.
And to ensure that the Joomla! CMS offers a solid stable platform that users can be confident in and rely upon.
The Joomla! Development Strategy
The Release Cycle introduced in 2014 forms an intrinsic part of the Joomla! Development Strategy.
What does the future hold?
The Joomla! Project announced that the stable release of the next series of Joomla! will be on or around 22 February 2022.
This will be Joomla! 4.1.
