The Additional Accessibility Features Plugin is enabled by default in a WYNCHCO Website Design.
Reason: we are committed - as is The Joomla! Project - to improving website accessibility for all users.
When enabled the Plugin displays a blue button in the bottom left corner of the browser screen - see image below.
When a website visitor clicks the button they will see a pop-up window with a list of accessibility-improving options.
The visitor may then choose one or more options to help them more easily interact with the website.
In addition, a Skip To or Keyboard Navigation button is also published at the top of the browser screen - see next image.
Invisible by default, the button appears when a website visitor clicks the Tab Key on their device.
When the visitor clicks the button they are presented with a menu of shortcut links to help them skip Menus.
The next image shows the menu of shortcut links as it appears at the top of the Home Page of this website.
Change Plugin Settings
You can change the Additional Accessibility Features Plugin's settings in your website's Dashboard.
To open the Plugin screen, select Plugins from the Site Panel after signing in.
Click its name to view and change its settings.
Toggle the Site Section setting to hide the button in either the Front End or Dashboard.
The default setting in a WYNCHCO Website Design = Both (i.e. Front End and Dashboard).
To hide the button completely, unpublish the Plugin.
