joomla help support cheshire manchester merseyside north west uk19 May 2021.

Mozilla has begun rolling out a new security feature called 'Site Isolation' for its Firefox browser to protect users against a new class of side-channel attacks from malicious sites.

Once activated the browser will load each website you browse using any one browser tab using a separate 'operating system process' to block untrusted code embedded by hackers in a website that you are unwittingly browsing in an adjacent tab.

Mozilla state: "Isolating each site into a separate operating system process makes it even harder for malicious sites to read another site's secret or private data."

Sounds great but is it good practice to browse lots of websites in adjacent browser tabs at any one time?
