Hacker News report new Chrome 0-Day Bug under active attack

Hacker News report that if you are using Google Chrome browser on Windows, Mac, or Linux computers then you need to update it immediately to the latest version.

Google has released an urgent Chrome update to address 14 newly discovered security issues, including a zero-day flaw that it says is being actively exploited in the wild.

A zero-day attack patch is issued by developers when they discover a flaw which has been exploited without their knowledge.

Chrome users can update to the latest version:

  • 91.0.4472.101

to mitigate the risk associated with this flaw.

Update Chrome to the latest release

By default the Chrome browser should update automatically.

But to be on the safe side, you should still check you are using the latest release.
