Hikashop 6.1.0 is the latest release by Hikari, developer of this excellent eCommerce extension for the Joomla! CMS.
It is a Bug Fix Release which introduces several new features including support for Joomla! 6.
Hikashop appears to be compatible with PHP 8.4.
Note: this extension may require that the Backward Compatibility Plugin is enabled.

Don't be put off by this developer's previous Security Releases. They show the developer is actively developing their extension.
The extensions to worry about are the ones which are not in active development.
HikaShop 5.1.5 was a Security Release
In its Release Notes the developer stated:
"We fixed a SQL injection vulnerability which would allow someone with access to the backend category management to run MySQL queries and potentially elevate his priviledges (sic)."

In its Release Notes the developer stated:
"We fixed a stored XSS trough SVG file upload security issue."
HikaShop 4.7.5 was a Security Release
In its Release Notes the developer stated:
"We fixed a medium severity RXSS attack with the filter system in HikaShop Business.
Affected versions of the Business edition are from the 4.2.0 to the 4.7.4."
HikaShop 4.7.3 was a Security Release
In its Release Notes the developer stated:
"We fixed a SQL injection vulnerability which could allow access to data from the database from the backend order edition area. Please update your HikaShop if you're using an older version of HikaShop."
