Hacker News report that Google "has released security updates to address a vulnerability in its Chrome browser for which an exploit exists in the wild."

Flaws which are actively exploited in the wild are also known as Zero Day vulnerabilities.

A patch for a Zero-Day Vulnerability is issued by developers when they discover a flaw which has been exploited without their knowledge.

Users are advised by The Hacker News report to update their Chrome browser to versions:

  • 138.0.7204.96/.97 for Windows,
  • 138.0.7204.92/.93 for macOS, and
  • 138.0.7204.96 for Linux.
