Joomla! Help Support Warrington Cheshire Manchester Merseyside UKRelease date: 1 July 2024.

Tabs and Sliders 5.0.9 is a bug fix release for this useful site map extension.

The latest release by developer Joomlashack is compatible with PHP 8.3.

Its use with the Joomla! 5 Series requires that the Backward Compatibility Plugin is enabled.

The Backward Compatibility Plugin is enabled by default in the Joomla! 5 CMS.

Purpose: to enable Third Party Extensions which are not yet compatible with the Joomla! 5 CMS to continue to function after you update your website from an earlier Joomla! version.

Your website's page load times may be slower when the Backward Compatibility Plugin is enabled.

For this reason you may wish to avoid using extensions which require its use.

If all your website's Third Party Extensions are compatible with Joomla! 5 then you may disable the plugin.

The Joomla! Project has published a useful guide at the following link.

The developer states on their website that they will "provide support until at least August 2024".
