Hacker News report that Google has released security updates to address yet another zero-day flaw in Chrome that it said has been actively exploited in the wild.

A patch for a Zero-Day Vulnerability is issued by developers when they discover a flaw which has been exploited without their knowledge.

Update Chrome to the latest release

By default the Chrome browser should update automatically.

But to be on the safe side, you should still check you are using the latest release.

The Hacker News report that "users are recommended to upgrade to Chrome version:

  • 125.0.6422.112/.113 for Windows and macOS
  • 125.0.6422.112 for Linux

to mitigate potential threats."

"Users of Chromium-based browsers such as Microsoft Edge, Brave, Opera, and Vivaldi are also advised to apply the fixes as and when they become available."
